I installed/unlocked FW 2.0 my iPhone Sunday morning. Now I just installed the WordPress app, and it seems to work quite well, just as all of the other apps I have tested.

WiFi USB drivers in Linux

Hey.

I had a problem connecting my old linux desktop to my wireless network using the USB wifi dongle.

It was an SMCWUSBT-G2.

The solution was fairly simple.

download the Windows driver from the manufacture website or copy the .inf file from the CD that comes with the USB device

open the terminal

type: sudo ndisgtk (This program converts the Windows WIFI driver to a linux driver basically.)

use this program to locate the .inf file you downloaded/copied, and run the program.

Now you can connect the USB dongle to your computer, and the program will tell you if it is has detected the device.

Then all you have to do is connect to your wifi network, either by typing the info manualy or using the System>Administration>Network function

Have you ever wondered where your user image is located on your Mac OS X? Well I have, because I took a killer User image, when I first started my Macbook Pro, and wanted to put in on all of my IM applications.Go to -> “User”/library/images/iChat Recent Pictures/ and presto. Thanks for reading.

My Macbook Pro Review

I got a Macbook Pro in October. It has a 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM, 120 GB harddrive. 128 MB ATI graphic card.

I´m running Leopard now, and it is kind of buggy, but not nearly as sucky as Windows Vista. When I used Tiger, there were no flaws in it at all. Nothing to complain about. I read somewhere that there will be an update to Leopard in late January, so that will probably fix these things.

Overall the screen size 15.4 inches. I use the laptop to watch Family Guy, when I go to bed, so it is not to small. The casing is very solid. I think it is aluminum, and it looks great. It is very resistant to scratches, and when I spill coffee on it, it comes right off.

Most of my work involves video editing, web management, and basic websurfing. And the laptop is perfect for that.iTunes rocks!! I download podcast of DIGGnation, Totally Rad Show, Chris Pirillo among other things. (DIGGnation you ROCK!!!!) My first iPod is coming soon. Am bidding for one on ebay right now. The 160 GB model. I will use it in my car, which has a stereo that supports iPod and other MP3 players. The Zune is not an option for me. I have decided not to buy any MS product, until they start doing shit worth buying. And FYI I will never buy Software on the internet.. Open Source FTW!!

There is only one thing that bugs me, and that is the Keyboard. Is is kind of difficult to use, when you first start using it, but when you get more and more familiar with it, it is OK.

The Packers win! Awesome game by Brett Favre, and Ryan Grant. Grant who fumbled on his first 2 handoffs, got back on the saddle, and ran for 201 yards, and 3 TDs. Favre threw 3 Tds, two of which to Greg Jennings, and one to Brandon Jackson.
